In this Tutorial i will show you how to enhance Photo with High Pass Filter and add some effect with Bokeh Filter and Color Balance Adjustement Layer.

Alien Skin Bokeh is an awesome filter and can recreate that Depth of Field not persent in the Original Photo.Bokeh is the only software that accurately simulates the distinctive blurring and creamy highlights of real lenses. Terence Tay, Bokeh’s designer, performed careful experiments with lenses famous for their bokeh highlights, such as the Canon® EF 85mm f/1.2 II and the Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8. The result is a photo-realistic look, in contrast to the unnatural blur from other software.

Step 1

After installation of this plug-in, open the girl photo with Photoshop.Go to Filter>Alien Skin Bokeh>Bokeh.Go to Blur 20% – Bokeh With Highlight Boost>Star.Select the Bokeh Tab and Set :

Focus Region : Radial
Bokeh Amount (%) : 18
Creamy (%) : 25

Modify the blur cercle aria like the image below:

Bokeh Filter will duplicate the photo layer and apply the Bokeh Effect.

Step 2

Duplicate the new layer and go to Filter>Other>High Pass. Change the Radius value to 6%.Duplicate this layer and decrease the Opacity to 25%.

Step 3

Add the two following adjustement layer on the top

Color Balance: Shadows

Color Balance: Mistones
